Addressing the India–Jordan Business Forum in Amman, PM Modi highlighted trade, investment and supply chain opportunities, saying both nations can jointly meet global needs.
New Delhi, Dec. 16, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the India–Jordan Business Forum in Amman, highlighting opportunities to deepen trade, business and investment linkages between the two countries.
Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah were also present at the forum. PM Modi said India offers opportunities, skills, speed and innovation, while Jordan holds strategic geographical importance. In such a scenario, he said, mutual cooperation can help provide the world with a reliable supply chain.
The forum served as a platform for business leaders from both countries to explore opportunities for enhanced trade, investment and partnerships in key sectors.
Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister said India is rapidly moving towards becoming the world’s third-largest economy, with a growth rate of over 8 per cent driven by productivity, governance and innovation-led policies. He added that the world needs a new growth engine and a trusted supply chain, and said India and Jordan together can play a significant role in fulfilling this global requirement.
