Huma Qureshi, Shreyas Talpade, and Sunny Singh play key parts in Nachiket Samant’s Single Salma, one of the best comic dramas of the year.
The protagonist of the narrative is Salma Rizvi (Huma Qureshi), an engineer working in the public works division of the UP-state government in Lucknow. As the family’s eldest and sole provider, Salma assumes entire responsibility for her younger brother and sisters. Despite coming from a wealthy family, her father, Mr. Rizvi, is currently in an unsatisfactory financial situation. She neglects her own personal life while attending to her siblings’ schooling and marriages, and even after turning thirty or older, she is still unmarried. Salma’s mother looks for a bride for her because she is really worried about her. Salma meets a lot of people, but because of her age range, nothing ever works out. She meets Sikandar (Shreyas Talpade), a forty-something man who is still unmarried. Ultimately, these two families were able to confirm everything, even marriage dates. Salma and Sikandar’s marriage take a turn for the worst when, shortly before being married, Salma spends two months in London on her official mission and develops feelings for Meet (Sunny Singh), a British citizen of Indian descent. What will happen to Salma and Sikandar’s marriage now? What happens to Salma and Meet’s recently formed, intimate relationship? Now, who will she wed? You have to see the movie to find out the answers to these questions.
Huma Qureshi has performed admirably. Her performance is very excellent and very captivating. In contrast, Shreyas Talpade appeared innocent and delighted the audience with his outstanding acting abilities. His role has been totally justified. Sunny Singh, an actor, has also made an impression. Other actors who have performed well in their roles include Lauren Gottlieb, Kanwaljit Singh, and Kal Sabir.
Nachiket Samant’s direction is just excellent. The cinematography is excellent and does a great job of both London and Lucknow. Even though the songs aren’t very enjoyable, they’re still quite amazing.
Overall, this is one of the best comedic dramas that will delight viewers with its compelling plot and, of course, the outstanding acting abilities of Shreyas Talpade and Huma Qureshi. It’s a better movie than most. Why wait, then? Visit the movie theater closest to you to view it.
