Aizawl, Nov. 26, 2025: The tour, arranged under the Assam Rifles’ Civic Action Programme, included a delegation of twenty students and two teachers selected from Siaha, Lawngtlai, and Lunglei districts. The group arrived in Delhi yesterday and had an interactive session with President Droupadi Murmu.
During the meeting, the President encouraged the Mizo students to be diligent and honest. She invited them to uphold the values important for the nation and its people and to become active partners in the country’s development.
The students, in turn, shared their experiences and highlights from the tour with the President. They expressed their immense gratitude and joy for the opportunity to meet the President of India, one of the nation’s highest and most respected dignitaries. (Source: Prasar Bharati Shabd)
