New Delhi, June 14, 2026: This year’s Miss Universe Delhi and Haryana pageant took an inspiring and unique turn with a strong focus on women’s empowerment, leadership through knowledge of law. To take forward this vision, they invited Ms. Raavi Birbal, Advocate, Supreme Court of India and Delhi High Court, to conduct a special session on the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013.
Ms. Raavi Birbal, Advocate delivered an engaging and insightful session on the POSH Act, 2013. Advocate Birbal gave a detailed overview of POSH Act. Excited by the law-learning session, the contestants raised several questions, ranging from sexual harassment during international trips to legal remedies available to women, imitations and challenges associated with digital apps, domestic violence, changes required in legislations and various challenges that can arise in the implementation of such laws.

The session proved to be highly useful, enriching the contestants with constructive and valuable legal knowledge as well as a strong sense of purpose for their lives. Participants left with greater awareness, confidence, strength and a stronger understanding of their rights and responsibilities.
Trishul Koli of Navsama Nexus said that the platform’s vision extends beyond helping women grow as just pageant contestants. The objective is to equip them with knowledge and awareness that will guide and empower them throughout their lives. Mr Koli has been instrumental in this initiative.
