Shillong, July 21, 2026: Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Tuesday chaired a virtual review meeting with the Minister in charge of the General Administration Department (GAD) and senior officials to assess the progress of ongoing and proposed Meghalaya House infrastructure projects across the country.
The meeting reviewed construction, expansion, and new development works in Delhi, Noida, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Vellore, and Kolkata, focusing on improving infrastructure, service delivery, and operational efficiency. The Chief Minister examined project timelines, directed officials to ensure timely execution with high quality standards, and stressed the importance of effective planning to meet the growing needs of Meghalaya residents travelling outside the State.
