Chhattisgarh: 24 Aug, 2024: India’s Home Minister Amit Shah briefed the media on Saturday regarding the ongoing security and development efforts in Left Wing Extremism (LWE)-affected areas of the country. Shah emphasized that Naxalism remains the “biggest challenge” and asserted that it will be eradicated by March 2026.
During the coordination meeting, Shah outlined the government’s strategies to address Naxalism, which includes enhanced security measures and developmental initiatives in affected regions. He also highlighted the progress made in combating extremism and the ongoing efforts to bring lasting peace and stability to these areas.
