New Delhi, Aug 25, 2024: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited the Naval Surface Warfare Center at Carderock and witnessed the groundbreaking experiments at the facility during his ongoing 4-day visit to the U.S.
Rajnath Singh said India and the U.S. look forward to working together and benefiting from each other’s experiences.
Meanwhile, the U.S. government has approved the sale of anti-submarine warfare sonobuoys to India. The anti-submarine gear is likely to cost 52 million US dollars and may give a major boost to India’s anti-submarine warfare capabilities in the Indo-Pacific and the IOR region.
